Yoga, Tantra Yoga and meditative practices have been around for thousands of years for a reason. They work!
You just have to find the right combination of practices that resonate with you. Having found effective combinations of practices that have worked for me in various stages of life, my desire is in sharing my experiences to benefit you in developing and refining your own unique path.
Originally from Canada, I have always had an intuitive interest in wanting to understand myself and the world around me more deeply. After being distracted by worldly desires for a couple of decades in my youth, I began to turn inwards for a better understanding of myself. Although my first exposure to yoga was as a child through my mother’s yoga books in the 1980’s, it wasn’t until much later that I began to practice yoga. After trying a few styles of yoga, I found my rhythm in Ashtanga Vinyasa with my first teachers Diane Bruni and Ron Reid. I love the repetitiveness of ashtanga practices. Less thinking and more feeling. It was during my first teacher training where I discovered the physical and mental benefits of a practice called Yoga Nidra. That experience was the spark that has led me on an amazing journey of offering classes, workshops and teacher trainings on the art of Yoga Nidra to thousands of students.



In 2010 I made the jump across the Atlantic Ocean to Hamburg, Germany where I continued to teach yoga and expand on my Yoga Nidra offerings to students. For the next 5 years I grew and refined my yoga teachings with some wise and inspiring teachers from around the world. I developed the ‘Rest into Being’ Yoga Nidra Teacher Training program and continued to gain a deeper understanding of other practices that benefited the body and mind. For the next 2 years, I travelled abroad sharing my teachings in Germany and Canada.
In 2016 came the birth of our son and the transition to becoming a yoga studio owner. Peace Out Yoga was born in Hamburg and for the next 8 years its magical energy flourished. It was a home away from home where students were presented with many yoga path choices that could serve them in finding their own yoga way. It was all about opening peoples’ eyes to possibilities, inspiring and supporting them. It was during this time, I focused on providing programs on understanding oneself more deeply beyond the obvious asana practice. Programs were shared on personal anatomy, breathwork to change energy levels and negative emotions and pre-meditative techniques to calm the 5 senses and mind. All of these woven together with a tantra yoga flavor.
In 2018, I met my spiritual teacher, Peter Marchand of Belgium. Peter has guided me in right understanding of traditional practices in Tantra, Jnana, Karma and Bhakti yoga that have equipped me with a variety of practices for pre-meditation, meditation and life. It has brought me understanding of the ‘Leela’ of life and to enjoy the miracle and bliss of being a human being. This is a message that I share in my classes, workshops and trainings.
What I offer in my teachings...
From a yogic perspective, I am no different than you. I have big and small waves to ride in life. I have moments where I can see my reflection clearly in the water and other moments where its muddy. For me, the difference is in how you ride the waves. Its about perspectives. In our present day, truly ‘knowing thy self’ is a game changer. This is the message in my teachings.
Whether it’s a group or 1:1 Personal Yoga, I draw from ancient wisdom and past teachings & practices to balance and harmonize the energies of body, mind, heart and soul.
