Tantra Yoga Fusion / Vinyasa meets Tantra
This class focuses on understanding and controlling the body and mind energies using the vast practices of Tantra Yoga. Classes combine asana practice together with breathwork, mudras, mantras, kriyas, visualisation & meditation that expand student awareness of the body, mind and consciousness. Practice level: Intermediate
Ashtanga Fundamentals / Ashtanga Flow
This is a led class that adapts the ashtanga poses of the 1st Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa (Primary Series) to your body and yoga experience. Yoga poses are linked in specific sequences that deepen a student's flexibility, strength, stamina & concentration. Sequences are repeated each class, so that students are given time to master postures through breath and stability. Emphasis is given to proper breathing (Ujjayi), body alignment (propping & assisting with the teacher) & Dristi gazing (method used to deepen awareness). A different key posture is reviewed & practiced with Eric each class. Practice level: All levels
Slow Sundays + Yoga Nidra
This class is slow flow yoga combined with deep rest to end. Through gentle yoga movements, simple breathing techniques, and a guided Yoga Nidra, you better harmonize the energies of body & mind to flow more easily with the ups and downs of daily life. Practice level: all levels
Yin Yoga
Unlike dynamic Yoga, where we primarily focus on muscle tissues, Yin Yoga is focused on opening the deeper connective tissues of the body like fascia, tendons and ligaments. Most Yin poses are done in a seated or lying position and are held for 3 to 10 minutes. With muscles remaining relaxed, the deeper body tissues are slowly and safely stretched and released of stress to stimulate the better flow of Chi (Prana) in the body. The quietness of a Yin Yoga practice provides many benefits to the body and mind. Give yourself the time to slow everything down with Yin Yoga. Practice level: All levels
Aqua Yoga
Our bodies are made up of approximately 70% water. Knowing this, it makes sense to practice yoga in water. What is Aqua Yoga? Aqua Yoga is simply low-impact yoga practiced in a pool of water to benefit the body and mind. Classes consist mainly of yoga standing poses along with seated poses against the wall or sitting on water props and simple breathwork. The main difference between Aqua Yoga and land-based yoga is your body feels lighter in water, so physically, there is less pressure on your joints. This means relief for sore joints and the water pressure turns down your response to pain. Being supported by the water also creates a safe environment for improving balance and awareness. Body strength is gently increased using water resistance movements combined with yoga poses. Aqua Yoga can calm you since it has a healing effect on your 5 senses and nervous system. This means it is also a useful aid in improving circulation, easing anxiety and reducing sleep-related issues. To end each class, you will rest into a ‘floating savasana’ to allow the water to perform its healing magic. Practice level: all levels
